Day reacts to Campbell’s resignation

MP Stockwell Day reacted this evening to the sudden resignation of Premier Gordon Campbell. Below is Day’s comments, submitted in a press release.

“Well, I can tell you, as regional minister for British Columbia, I’ve dealt with Premier Campbell on many issues. On every single one of them, I can tell you he was unfailing in putting first and foremost the interests of British Columbians and the interests of the province. There were many, many projects that he was successful with and his government was successful with, related to infrastructure across the province. It’s been an honour and a joy to serve with him and to work with him on so many different items and I certainly wish him all the best in his future.”
