Between January 17 and February 28, members of the Central Okanagan Traffic Services, in partnership with Kelowna and West Kelowna general duty members, will be involved in a number of traffic enforcement initiatives with the sole purpose of continuing the safety of the motoring public.
These initiatives will focus on:
- Electronic Devise use.
- Intersection Enforcement.
- Seatbelt use.
- HOV compliance.
- Impaired Driving.
- Other Motor Vehicle Act/Criminal Code offences.
It is important to note that these initiatives are planned on an ongoing basis and that their continued action is paramount to ensuring the safety of motorists on all Central Okanagan roadways.
