Controlled burn to continue at Sanderson Park

Peachland Fire & Rescue Service (PFRS) will be finishing a controlled burn in Sanderson Park to complete the Forest Fuel Modification Project, Fire Chief Grant Topham announced today.

Burning will take place between now and April, depending on the venting and air quality index for a favorable day. Peachland Fire and Rescue Service members thank the public for their patience while PFRS completes the burn to reduce the fire hazard in this area.
