Peachland residents can use their tap water without worry again. A Boil Water Notice issued Friday for the District of Peachland has been rescinded.
Turbidity levels spiked to more than 10 NTU after a powerful thunderstorm Thursday dropped significant amounts of rain on the Deep Creek watershed. The district issued a Boil Water Notice Friday morning.
At the time, Doug Allin, director of operations, said he believed the advisory would be a short lived event. Monday morning, the district announced it was rescinding the notice.
Turbidity levels in Deep Creek were 0.64 NTU Monday morning, according to the district’s website.
