Three well-known Penticton businesses were destroyed early Sunday morning in a large fire in the downtown core.

Slack Alice’s strip club, Bubblee’s Beer and Wine Store and the Chinese Laundry restaurant were demolished in the blaze, which was first reported just after midnight.

The businesses were located on Front Street.

One Response to “Penticton businesses gone in spectacular fire”

  1.

It was sad to hear about Slacks, it has been an icon in Penticton for years and a part of Penticton’s history. It is now gone. I’m sure to some it is a great thing. But for those of us who have enjoyed the many experiences and friends associated with Slack’s, it will be missed. Our hearts go out to the owner.
