The sun shone down on Peachland for a great day of music in Heritage Park Sunday, where Marty Edwards (Kenny) put on a great performance for a crowd of about 150.
The day wharf was full and local restaurants did a booming business. The Peachland Ambassadors and the royalty from Summerland were there for the occasion and walked Centennial Way from the Peachland Community Centre in their costumes with the visiting royalty.
Our ambassador Stacey played a solo and duet with Marty. A treat for the royalty was a cruise on the Tooner Cruise boat. Tom Cornwall from the Union Jacks Restaurant at Shannon Lake Golf Course cooked a delicious barbeque for all the ambassadors.
Darrel from the municipal staff helped immensely with the entire set up for the day. Linda Sarsons does an amazing job with the young people that represent our community. The pictures tell the story.

Who are the ambassadors for this year?
They are representing our town and I know nothing about them.
