A water quality advisory issued four days ago has been rescinded.
The District of Peachland put the advisory in place after heavy rains last weekend churned things up and increased turbidity levels in area creeks.
Turbidity levels have now dropped to a point where drinking water is considered good and the district rescinded the advisory Friday morning.
our house only drinks tap water in Peachland except times when the water advisory goes to really bad quality. We don’t buy bottled water. Bottled water has been through a reverse osmosis filter which removes everything including the natural nutrients found in water. It leaves nothing behind.
I didn’t know Peachland residences drank the water from the tap unless it been filtered again anyways.
Bottled water sure tastes better than tap water, advisory or not.
Great… love a nice cold glass of ice-water but don’t so much like having to buy it.
