PeachlandNews.com is not responsible for the the content of classified ads found on this site. We take reasonable measures to ensure that posters comply with our rules, however potential buyers are encouraged to conduct due diligence before responding to a/any ad published on this site.

Rules and Guidelines for Ad Posters

By posting your classified ad here, you agree that it is in compliance with the guidelines listed below.

PeachlandNews.com reserves the right to modify any ads in violation of our guidelines in order to prevent abuse and keep the content appropriate for our general audience. This includes people of all ages, races, religions, and nationalities. Therefore, all ads that are in violation of our guidelines are subject to being removed immediately and without prior notice.

By posting an ad on this site, you agree to the following statement:

I agree that I will be solely responsible for the content of any classified ads that I post on this website. I will not hold the owner of this website responsible for any losses or damages to myself or to others that may result directly or indirectly from any ads that I post here.

By posting an ad on this site, you further agree to the following guidelines:

• No foul or otherwise inappropriate language will be tolerated. Ads in violation of this rule are subject to being removed immediately and without warning. If the ad was paid for, no refund will be issued.
• No racist, hateful, or otherwise offensive comments will be tolerated.
• No ad will be allowed that promotes activities that are illegal under the laws of Canada.
• Any ad that appears to be merely a test posting, a joke, or otherwise insincere or non-serious is subject to removal.
• We reserve the ultimate discretion as to which ads, if any, are in violation of these guidelines.

Employers, please note

As per the Human Rights Code:

A person must not publish or cause to be published an advertisement in connection with employment or prospective employment that expresses a limitation, specification or preference as to race, colour, ancestry, place of origin, political belief, religion, marital status, family status, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation or age unless the limitation, specification or preference is based on a bona fide occupational requirement.

Merchants

The Classifieds of PeachlandNews.com are not to be used by merchants to hawk their wares. (Example: An antiques dealer may not post ads for antiques for sale.) These types of ads will be removed without notice. Businesses are not allowed to use the Classifieds to advertise their business. If you are a business person who wants to sell a car, a desk, or needs to hire an employee, feel free to post an ad. PeachlandNews.com has a Business Directory to advertise businesses.

Categories

1. PeachlandNews.com reserves the right to move a/any ad to a category we feel is more appropriate for the item/thing being advertised.
2. From time to time, new categories will be added as needed. As new categories are added, we reserve the right to move ads to more appropriate categories.
3. If you have a suggestion for a new category, please contact us.
